Woody Allen may not be everyone’s cup of tea but if you’re a fan of the way that he explores the human condition in Midnight in Paris, To Rome With Love and Blue Jasmine you’ll enjoy his take on the gap between the spiritual and the rational in this film.
With delicious dialogue and intriguing characters, Magic in the Moonlight is executed like a stage play and could be enjoyed as easily in an off Broadway theatre as it is in a cinema. Enjoyably simple.
