The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship

Founded in 2006 by Sir Richard Branson, the Branson Centre's vision is to develop the most promising entrepreneurs in South Africa and other parts of the world. Their mission is to incubate emerging businesses by providing practical business skills, critical resources, access to markets and capital. This in turn will help create employment in disadvantaged communities.

As a Branson Centre Entrepreneur, Brett has received training, advice and access to the Virgin network over the years, a relationship that took him to Los Angeles in 2013 to meet with the heads of Virgin Produced. While there he was connected to industry heads and walked away from the experience with a manager, contacts and a Hollywood experience.

The Branson Centre has committed to supporting his first feature film, Sink, through exposure and access to the greater Virgin network and is an example of their ongoing commitment to using business in the arts as a force for good and job creation in South Africa. The following article by Virgin Unite is an example of this exposure.

The following video that Brett did for the Branson Centre will tell you a little bit about their vision for South Africa. You can also visit their website for more information.
